GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) exam is a computer-based standardized test conducted by IISc and IITs at the national level in India to examine the understanding of respective engineering and science. Qualifying in the GATE exam is a mandatory requirement for all engineering graduates who are seeking admissions with financial assistance to the Postgraduate Programs like Master's and Doctoral with the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) and other Government Scholarships / Assistantships that are subject to the admission criteria’s of the institutes.
